I’m the father of two Seattle Public 学校 students one a senior at 巴拉德 HS the other a graduate and Lance Corporal in the USMC. My mom taught 2nd and 3rd grades for more than 35 years. My community service includes Scout Assistant Scoutmaster for 木兰 Troop 80. I have a BA from 惠特曼 College and an MBA from Baldwin-Wallace University.

Public education is pivotal to prepare future generations to be responsible, caring and capable adults. The social environment in which public education is delivered has unique challenges. 作为父母的我们, community members and businesses have an opportunity to hold ourselves accountable to ensure education equips students with the means to be competitive in future careers or higher education.
